Members and representatives of the Youth Political Dialogue Forum held an important meeting with His Excellency the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Libya, Mr. Martin Longden, during his visit to the city of Misrata. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to exchange views on the essential role of youth in breaking the political stagnation and driving the political process toward a path that ensures stability and active participation.
The Forum’s representatives expressed their deep appreciation for His Excellency’s support of youth initiatives, emphasizing that partnerships with the international community should remain supportive of Libyans’ aspirations and sovereignty, rather than serving as a substitute for national decision-making. The Forum also reaffirmed its commitment to empowering youth and strengthening their presence as active partners in building a nation based on dialogue and cooperation, free from any direct external interference.
